What is MuffinPay?
MuffinPay is a cross-border payments app built on stablecoins. Send money and pay bills for the people you love in another country: rent, electricity, school fees, insurance. Bills go straight to the biller, money lands in local currency, with proof.
What is Life Payments?
The settlement of a named obligation on behalf of an identified beneficiary, resulting in a verifiable proof that a condition of life has been maintained. In plain words: a bill is paid in full, straight to the biller, for a named person back home, and you receive the proof that it is done. Bills, money to family and the card are the products that deliver it today.
How do I pay my family's bills back home from abroad?
Add the people you care for and their billers, such as electricity, water, gas, mobile, broadband, school fees and insurance. Pay from the app wherever you live, and the bill is paid in full, straight to the biller back home.
Is there a fee?
No. MuffinPay charges no transfer fee and adds no markup to the exchange rate, so your family gets the live mid-market rate, the one Google shows. Founding Families have zero fee and the real rate guaranteed for life; the first 1,000 also get first access in their country and a sealed founding gift. Conditions apply.
Does MuffinPay use stablecoins?
Yes. MuffinPay moves money across borders as regulated digital dollars, USDC and USDT, so payments settle in seconds at any hour. The biller or family receives local currency. If you already hold USDC or USDT, you can pay from your own wallet. Conversion and payouts are carried out by regulated partners where available.
Which countries does MuffinPay cover?
The network reaches 35,000+ billers in 180 countries. The first corridors connect the UAE, the USA, the UK, Canada, Singapore, Germany and Hong Kong with India, the first receiving country. Singapore and Hong Kong open with bill payments and money transfer, and Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria and Kenya come next. MuffinPay opens country by country.
When can I start using MuffinPay?
MuffinPay opens country by country, and invites go out in order of place on the waitlist. Join at waitlist.muffinpay.com to hold your place and receive your invite.
Is MuffinPay a bank?
No. MuffinPay is a financial technology (fintech) company building Life Payments. Payments, currency conversion and payouts are carried out by licensed, authorised partners in each market.
Does my family need the app too?
No. The bill is paid straight to the biller, and money lands in their bank account in local currency. Nobody back home needs an app or a wallet.
How do I know I am dealing with the real MuffinPay?
The only official MuffinPay websites are muffinpay.com and its subdomains. MuffinPay never asks for passwords, one-time codes, private keys or recovery phrases, and never asks you to pay to join or to claim a reward.
