Accessibility Statement

Last updated

MuffinPay wants everyone to be able to use its websites, whatever device, ability or assistive technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. If anything gets in your way, write to info [at] muffinpay.com and we will help.

Which standard do MuffinPay sites follow?

We aim to conform with WCAG 2.2 level AA, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act guidance and the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance. This statement covers muffinpay.com, waitlist.muffinpay.com and the other MuffinPay sites that link to it.

What have you done to make the sites accessible?

  • Text and controls meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, in both light and dark mode
  • Every function works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline that is never hidden behind the header
  • A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page
  • Form fields have labels, clear error messages and the right keyboards on mobile
  • Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and main buttons on mobile at least 44 pixels
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers
  • Pages respect your settings for reduced motion, light or dark mode, and text enlarged to 200%
  • Pages work from 320-pixel phones to large screens, in portrait and landscape
  • The cookie bar can be used fully with a keyboard and a screen reader

How do you test?

We check each release with automated contrast and structure tests, a keyboard-only pass, and visual checks on phone and desktop screens in light and dark mode. We are adding regular screen-reader testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA. This statement was prepared on 17 October 2026 from a self-assessment.

Are there known limitations?

  • Some content we link to on other websites, such as news articles and social networks, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard
  • The shareable Founding ticket is an image; the same details are shown as text on the page and in your welcome email
  • Emails can display differently depending on your email app; every email also has a plain-text version

How do I report a problem or ask for another format?

Email info [at] muffinpay.com with the page address and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and can send information in another format, such as plain text or a phone call, if you need it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the accessibility or equality body in your country.
